Existential themes, and the paradoxical relationships between violence, sexual identity, and religion, have fascinated me and been my focus for years. I am drawn to the figure because of its iconic, historical, and universal appeal. I examine and reflect upon my personal genealogy. These issues are not only timely but also translate into a global perspective that is at once expressionistic, emotional, and intellectual.
